Do I need a separate ticket for Sea World Spooky Nights?
Yes, Sea World Spooky Nights is an exclusive after-hours event and requires a separate ticket. General admission does not include entry to this event.
How do I redeem my Sea World Spooky Nights ticket with my Village Roadshow One Pass?
You can redeem your one free entry to Sea World Spooky Nights here. Select your ticket and date you wish to visit, then enter your One Pass ticket barcode no. in the giftcode field to redeem. (Tip: The ticket barcode no. can be found on your ticket within the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App or on your printed hard card).
Can I get a pass-out when at Sea World Spooky Nights?
No pass-outs will be issued during Sea World Spooky Nights. If you leave the park you will not be allowed to re-enter.
Are there courtesy buses from and to Sea World Spooky Nights?
No, however there are a number of public buses and taxis arriving and departing regularly. For more information regarding Gold Coast Surfside Buses please visit the website - www.translink.com.au or contact Trans Info on 13 12 30.
Do children need a ticket?
Yes, all guests aged 3 years and over require a ticket. Children under 3 enter free.
Are numbers limited each night?
Yes, capacity is limited to ensure an enjoyable experience. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred date.
Food, Drink & Facilities
Can I bring my own food or drinks to Sea World Spooky Nights?
Yes, guests with specific dietary requirements or medical conditions are welcome to bring light food and snacks prepared at home. Items such as sandwiches, fruit, and similar homemade foods are permitted. We understand the importance of accommodating individual needs and aim to support your experience while maintaining a safe environment for all guests.
Please note the following guidelines when bringing food into the park:
Commercially prepared food (such as fast food or takeaway) is not permitted.
Knives and glassware of any kind are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed, provided they are in plastic or tin containers (no glass bottles).
Eskies and coolers are permitted for storing your food and drinks, but may be subject to inspection upon entry.
Will food outlets be open during Spooky Nights?
Yes, a range of outlets will be open, offering everything from classic theme park snacks to spooky-themed treats and meals. Options may include burgers, loaded fries, pizza, sweet treats, and beverages - including licensed bars for guests aged 18 and over. Availability may vary by night.

What is Sea World Spooky Nights?
Sea World Spooky Nights is Sea World’s after hours ticketed family event. The event starts at 5:30pm and transforms the park into a spooky land. Experience incredible precincts, spooktivities, shows and presentations, selected rides at night plus much more! Tickets must be pre-booked.
What are the dates for Sea World Spooky Nights 2025?
Sea World Spooky Nights will return 2026.
What Time Can I Arrive?
Guests can arrive at the park any time during operational hours on the day of their ticketed admission. By presenting their Sea World General Admission or Village Roadshow One Pass along with their Sea World Spooky Nights Admission, they will receive a wristband. This allows them to explore the park throughout the day and experience the spookiness come to life by night.
Will Sea World Spooky Nights be on during wet weather?
Sea World Spooky Nights will continue even in wet weather. Please note that during lightning and severe thunderstorms Sea World may temporarily suspend rides and attractions until they are safe to operate.
During Sea World Spooky Nights, will all Rides and Exhibits be open?
Sea World Spooky Nights guests can experience some of their favourite rides and attractions after dark. Check them out HERE! Rides and attractions are subject to change to enable maintenance and some rides and attractions will not operate during inclement weather conditions. Please note queue lines may close earlier to allow attractions to finish in line with park closing times.
Is Sea World Spooky Nights suitable for children?
Sea World Spooky Nights is a family friendly event suitable for children of all ages and adults.
Does Sea World Spooky Nights have visual, audio or strobe effects?
Some locations make use of visual and audio effects, including strobe lights and may not be suitable for guests with a history of vertigo, epilepsy, seizures, claustrophobia, heart disorders and high blood pressure.
Where can I park?
The Sea World carpark can be a little spooky at the start and end of the night, we suggest arriving early to ensure you can start your adventure at 5:30pm. Alternative parking can be found on Seaworld Drive but please ensure you only park in designated council parking locations or you could be in for a fright. At the end of the night there may be some short delays exiting, however, our team will be there to assist clearing the carpark as quickly and as safely as possible. Alternatively, why not grab some ice-cream and have one last devilish bite before heading out while it clears.
Costumes & Make Up
Can I wear heavy make-up to Sea World Spooky Nights?
For health and safety reasons, guests are not permitted to wear decorative full-face coverings of any kind or make-up that prevents facial identification. You are welcome to wear costumes and light facial make-up. You will be required to remove decorative full face coverings of any kind/heavy make-up before you are allowed entry into Sea World.
Can I wear a face mask to Sea World Spooky Nights?
For health and safety reasons, guests are not permitted to wear decorative full face coverings of any kind or make-up that prevents facial identification. You are welcome to wear costumes and light facial make-up. You will be required to remove decorative full-face coverings of any kind/heavy make-up before you are allowed entry into Sea World.
Can I wear a costume to Sea World Spooky Nights?
For health and safety reasons, guests are not permitted to wear decorative full-face coverings of any kind or make-up that prevents facial identification. You are welcome to wear costumes and light facial make-up. No dangerous items or weapons may be brought into Sea World. Note: Some costume pieces may need to be removed due to ride restrictions.
